This is the second vacation in a row that my wife and I have relied on Hermanus Shuttle Service for our transportation needs. If you appreciate efficient, professional and courteous service, then look no further. Whether we required a ride to the airport or an all out sightseeing adventure, Hermanus Shuttle Service had us covered! Brandon and Cally made booking quick and easy. The experienced and knowledgeable drivers (Leon, Lourens, and Simphiwe) made us feel comfortable and safe on the road. Our drivers were always punctual, personable, and accommodating. Phoned Yuri to help out with my guys stuck in Hermanus. He didn't have available drivers, but was kind enough to take my number and whatsapp me two alternatives that could help me out. I can only highly recommend a business that has such helpful owner!

Leon Philander is an extremely careful and smooth driver, and our car was new and comfortable. Leon is polite, quietly spoken, efficient and helpful. He was 100% on time and reliable. Our 2 trips with him were stress free. If you are looking for a shuttle service this is the one to choose.

Wine tour in Hemel-and-Aarde Valley!

What a great day our group had with our driver, John Peter - nothing was too much effort and we could enjoy the lovely wines and have lunch, without having to drive ourselves.

Your Questions

Hermanus is about an hour and a half from Cape Town vir the N2.
Peregrine Farm Stall, Grabouw and Houw Hoek Farm Stall, Elgin are two very popular stops along the route.
Clarence Drive is the alternative route to Hermanus; it's a magnificent scenic coastal drive from Gordons Bay to Rooi-Els. This beautiful, coastal drive stretches between the two towns over 21 km, hugging the wild turquoise Cape coastline all the way. If you like passes with lots of corners, then this one is for you, as it contains 77 bends, curves and corners of which four are in excess of 150 degrees. The road is in a beautiful condition and attracts tourists, locals, bikers and cyclists in their droves. Overtaking is fairly limited and in general one can expect to average well below 60 kph.
You should add at least 40 minutes to your travel time. Best to make provision for at least another hour, if you'd like to make use of the safe areas to stop for photos.
